A Look Back at Past Successes
DTH Residency Draws Excellent Attendance
 On Thursday, November 5, Christina Cultural Arts Center welcomed 16 members of the Dance Theatre of Harlem Ensemble (DTH), who mezmorized more than 125 students and educators for a special one-night-only workshop and performance.
Dancers from Japan, South America, Trinidad, Maryland, Texas and other parts of the U.S. demonstrated impeccable grace, strength and beauty. DTH Ballet Master Keith Saunders was engaging, informative and inspirational. The lecture demonstration was funded by the National Endownment for the Arts in support of the Building Bridges Through the Arts Initiative at CCAC. Special thanks to Jack & Jill and the Delaware Dance Company for joining us!
Christi Awards Honors Arts Advocates
A gracious thank-you to all the attendees, sponsors, hosts, volunteers, performers and especially the award winners of the 2009 Christi Awards, held on Thursday, October 22. A capacity crowd came out to honor our four award winners and be dazzled by the amazing CCAC talent exhibited at the gala reception afterward. Thank you again to all who supported this celebration of the Arts in our community!
